Blood Collection at Home
Having your blood collected at home by an experienced phlebotomist is a simple process.
IMPORTANT – Please DO NOT open the box you receive in the post. If the security seal is broken, the phlebotomist WILL NOT draw your blood.
Order and book
Once you purchase your test, a member of the examine me support team will be in touch to arrange a home phlebotomy appointment within 48 hours.
Drink Water.
Drink plenty of water in the hours before your blood draw and a large glass 30 minutes prior to ensure you are well-hydrated.
Prepare
Read instructions and check test requirements. For some tests, it is recommended that you fast (not eat or drink anything other than water) or stop taking medication/supplements for a period before sample collection. You can check this information by selecting your test on our website and reading the “When should the test be taken?” section.
